Introducing Release 1.4.7!

I know it's been a while since we have put out release notes - but it is because we have been hard at work on some amazing new features and functionality that we are excited to share with you today!

The focus of this release has really been to introduce features that automate issue resolution and allow you as the business to become more autonomous and operationally efficient. We hope these release notes acknowledge past limitations and detail the solutions now available.

Since it's been a while - we will only be covering the features we think are most important to know about. This is not an exhaustive list as we have released hundreds of imrpovements since our last release notes were written (Release 1.4.0). For detailed information on how to use a new feature, please contact your dedicated Bask success rep for tutorials, video walkthroughs and how to use guides.

Enjoy, and get back to saving the world, growing your business and helping patients!

Pharmacy Features and Improvements:

We now are integrated with over 5 new pharmacies - Please reach out to us for more information if you would like to find a new pharmacy partner to work with in the Bask network.

Bask Pharmacy OS v.1.1 - We have now released a pharmacy operating system that Pharmacy partners lacking in technological infrastructure can utilize to manage and fulfill orders. If you would like to onboard a pharmacy that is lacking on the technology side - this is an easy solution and only takes a few minutes to implement at the pharmacy level.

Integration Updates: You can now add predefined flags to orders which will send the corresponding flag and any notes to the pharmacy. This includes queuing reshipments, reorders, expediting orders, marking orders as urgent or stat, leaving notes for the pharmacy, setting a hold date at the pharmacy, canceling and reordering, and updating orders with the pharmacy (Addresses, etc). This only works with pharmacy partners that have opted in to use this feature. You can now also retry sending to the pharmacy yourself now if it fails.

Physician Features and Improvements:

New Prescribing Controls: We have very carefully opened up a way for you businesses to automatically reroute prescriptions between pharmacies, request prescription resends, and change the medication on a prescription to another medication of an identical class. This is only allowed up to 10 days after an order has been placed and 1 time per order. You can also recreate visits yourself now if they fail.

Questionnaire Updates:

Zip Code Router: A new question type that can be used to route patients based on their location. This is an “invisible” question and is really a back-end condition you can used to route patients by state.

More Customization Options to Questions: We added more colors you can adjust, more text that can be changed, image sizing customization, and more buttons that can be customized. This includes many of your common requests to edit a button or text that was previously uneditable.

Itemize Costs on Checkout Page: You can now itemize your costs to the patient if you would like to display the visit cost separately from the medication cost but still sum it up to a total on the checkout page.

Name & Email as Query Params: We added the ability to pass Name & Email as Query Params to your questionnaire url which allows you to create starting funnels outside of Bask to collect this information before passing patients into your Bask intake flow.

Numerous speed enhancements

Misc Features:

New Statuses: Patient Statuses (Denied) and Payment Status (Declined)

Draft Payments: Introducing draft payments, which is our way of allowing patients to get on a payment plan for a medication or treatment that might be shipped every 3 months, but paid for on a monthly basis.

Search Improvements: Expanded fields that are searchable throughout the tables and search fields on the platform. You can now search with MRN #, Phone #, Email and Treatment ID.

Table Improvements: Added some new fields to the tables, most notably the orders table. We also made some improvements to the data quality when exporting tables

Improved Digital Subscriptions: We made numerous updates to the usability and flexibility of how businesses can offer digital subscriptions to their patients and our internal handling. You can now more easily refund specific payments, pause subscriptions, change the billing dates and subscription price, etc.

Added a Product Page: You can now build product pages that are dynamic and use your product catalog within our landing page builder

Added Cart Functionality to Landing Page builder: A feature that uses our new product page component(s) in the landing pages, this allows for users to “Add multiple products” to a cart, and the checkout page is then dynamically rendered for all products in a “cart”.

Notification Updates: Added new variables and updated the date formatting in emails for better usability and readability

Coupon Codes: We improved some of the functionality for coupon codes and added more use cases in which coupon codes can be applied and used, both for bundled products and future orders.

New Premium Features:

Intercom: We now have an integration with Intercom, a popular HIPAA compliant chat bot to better help you manage your customer service and patient interactions.

Cohort Charts: A new page in analytics that allows you to view an in depth analysis of your patients and their retention rates over time.

Daily Reports: A notification that provides a daily summary of your business to your inbox. This includes your top three products of the day, your total number of new vs. returning patients that day, total orders and a few more KPIs.

Additional Webhook(s) and Fields: We expanded the available fields that can be passed to existing webhooks and the Data Layer. We also added an order update webhook that mirrors the new order webhook allowing for even more robust workflows outside of Bask.

As I said previously, we just wanted to emphasize some core features that were released and updated. Hundreds of minor changes and fixes were also released so be sure to reach out for clarity if you were looking for something particular.
We are excited to see you all continue to succeed with Bask. Thank you for your continued support, and please, do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, concerns or feedback. Our door is always open.
